I was prescribed 10mg prednisone for bronchitis. 5 pills for 2 days, then 4 for 2, 3 for 2 and so on. After the first day at 3 pills I forgot to take any more since I was feeling better. I've now forgotten for 2 day and feel perfectly fine. Should I be concerned about any unforeseen issues?
Prednisone - OK to stop after 5 days?

Hi csj: Prednisone can be tricky. You can feel better for a day or two, then feel worse. It would be wise to get with your doctor TODAY and he can tell you where to go from here. He will more than likely want you to finish your course of meds, and he can give you the schedule to follow through with in your treatment. Hope you feel better soon!
I agree with G!
Those first few days bring a sense of euphoria. It's easy to say "I'm better" but now you need to eat crow and come clean to your doctor.
Always follow through on the course of meds!
