What has PCOS and diabetes have to do with getting a massage with using beauty oils. Both diseases are internal other than PCOS does have a symptom of acne of which the oils may or may not help. Metformin is a drug that is used in diabetics to help control blood glucose levels, there again no connection to the massage
I am not using the massage oils as a beauty treatment but as part of a Naturopathic program of treatment and am looking for expert advice regarding any possible contraindications with Metformin. Essential oils have numerous other benefits and uses other than just smelling good! For your information even something as natural as eating a grapefruit may interfere with the uptake and metabolism of certain pharmaceutical drugs with potentially serious consequences. I am therefore asking for a professional response from say a chemist, pharmacist or the drug manufacturers themselves. Thank you.
Your question did not specify a response from these types of people so what I suggest is that you open a telephone book and look up pharmacy and call a pharmacist or call and speak to the doctor that prescribed the metformin. And, as far as using eating grapefruit juice or eating grapefruit is injesting a food that is suggested is counter indicated in statin drugs of which metformin is not in that class of drugs. And unless the person has an allergy to grapefruit or grapefruit juice, it is recommended that the person eat a well balanced meal plan that may yes include include eating grapefruit.
