I have been taking Oxybutynin 5mg twice daily for around 7 weeks for excessive sweating. It has worked really well reduced my excessive sweating immensely until the last week. It's back with vengeance. I'm gutted after all this time suffering. I really thought I had found a cure.

Hi,
You could ask your GP to prescribe 15mg Pro-Banthine . It’s very good for hyperhidrosis. It works immediately but you have to take it on an empty stomach. It’s not so good if you have GERD. But it’s a case of risk versus benefit.
Oxybutynin is also available in delayed release formula. There are many options available to you and I hope you find relief for your sweating.
Speak to your gp... Most people start on 2 then go onto 4 daily 20mg in total... i did because just like you I felt it stopped working.. Hopes this answers your question.
