I even tried over the counter diet pills but nothing worked,in fell into depression and my anxiety went through the roof...

The weight you have gained while on Nexplanon will remain unless you work hard to shake it off. The key to losing weight is to watch your calories, eat a well balanced diet and exercise regularly. It's particularly hard trying to lose weight while being a stay at home mum because you spend a good part of your day preparing meals and cleaning up food mess. Pay special attention to avoid "picking" and eating your families unfinished meals! If you are having difficulty shifting the excess weight talk to your doctor - there are some new weight loss medicines now available on prescription.

I disagree! I had my nexplanon removed a week and a half ago. I had a very similar experience but mine was in for three years and I only gained weight in the last year and a half but I’ve lost 7 pounds already! I decided after it came out I’d give it a month before I went hard to loose it but now the weight is literally falling off.
So, I have a major question. I am 18 years old. When I was 17 I got the Nexplanon put in on June 20th of 2017. I just recently had it removed on Monday February 26th because of excessive weight gain and it made me like the devil. It has been almost 2 weeks and I haven’t seen any results of losing weight. I haven’t really been watching my diet but I am drinking way more water and trying to get my body back to how it was when I got it put in. Tell me how long you think it will take. Thanks! :)
The hormonal weight caused by Nexplanon is a nightmare to get off. My daughter has gained 40 lbs. and no matter how little she eats (of the right foods) and exercises, it does not come off. The pill usually causes 10-15 lbs., but 40 lbs. is ridiculous. She is tiny framed and up to a 32G in the bust and 180 lbs. Doctors are not telling patients that this weight gain is excessive and is extremely difficult to lose.
