At first my implant didn't hurt, but the last few days, I got it a little over a week ago, I've been experiencing sharp pains around the location. It's not constant, but it's annoying. It's almost like it's poking out. It doesn't hurt to put pressure on it, but sometimes it hurts when I lightly touch it. Do I need to be concerned or is this all part of the healing process?
Did your nexplanon implant have sharp pains from time to time about a week after you got it?

As with any type of estrogen or birth control method you should read the literature
that comes with the implant/or at least discuss this with your doctor. The doctor
should have a sheet of valuable information to give to you - ask him if he does.
The location around the implant may be disturbed because (perhaps) the
implant is not implanted properly - I would go to the doctor who implanted it and
have him look at it and find out what's up with the implantation, if anything.
It sounds as if the implant is out of line or something to that effect.
Go to your doctor as soon as possible and get treated for this problem.
Meanwhile read about Nexplanon implant and perhaps this will help you.
Good luck, and I hope you feel better soon.
