I haven't heard any of my clients experience weight gain by taking Meloxicam. Steroids and tramadol have more side effects than Meloxicam. The less invasive anti-inflammatory Rx is Ibuprofen 600mg 3x a day. One has to take 400mg at least for reducing the inflammation. 400mg or 600mg is prescription strength which can only be prescribed by the health care professional.
