I'm a 42 year old male and am prescribed Wellbutrin, Concerta in the morning Vyvanse around 1:00pm and Seroquel at bedtime. I can't even be outside if it's warm and people are around because my sweating is out of control. I'm wet like it's raining in a few minutes?
Are my meds causing me to sweat abnormally and uncontrollably?

I have this same problem and still do. Both before and after going on Adderall! I was embarrassed to go outside as you mentioned as I immediately started to sweat and it would stain my white shirts and hats so badly that I couldn’t get out the yellow staining. I was soaked in a few seconds and I saw numerous Drs about this issue. The only thing that helped me is 2 to 4mgs of Xanax and the sweating slows way down, but it still doesn’t stop the sweating. My Psychiatrist is the only person who will prescribe me with the Xanax. He thinks it’s a panic attack and I’m allergic to every single SSRI that my Primary Care physician had me try. They all gave me a bad rash. One finally landed me in the ER as they all made my tongue swell up.SSRIs are not without their own problems when you try to stop taking them as well. So I don’t know why I have this sweating issue. My AC1 is not out of range, but I was exposed to a pesticide called Talstar and I think it’s the culprit and it has screwed up my life. It’s also no coincidence that the sweating started short.y after the exposure to the newest “safe pesticide “ and it has caused my endocrine system some problems. It was outlawed by the end of that same year they started using it for indoor use.
These are your culprits...
Wellbutrin: Very Common (10% or more of users): Excessive sweating (up to 22.3%).
Vyvanse: Common (1% to 10% of users): Rash, hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), pruritus.
Seroquel: Common (1% to 10% of users): Acne, rash, sweating.
Concerta can also cause excessive sweating in a few users.
Be sure to talk to your doctor about this. Sometimes a dosage adjustment can help although which medication would you adjust since all of yours can cause it? Also, there are medications that help control it.
Regards and good luck!
What medication can control sweating? My Dermatologist said that it was something I was going to have to deal with. Not saying that there aren’t any meds for sweating. I was told that Botox would stop it, but it’s not covered by my insurance and it is all over my body. Initially they said my testosterone levels were low and put me on patches, but I still had severe sweating. Unfortunately, I go to one of the biggest medical providers in Texas and they didn’t have a toxicology lab! If it’s a pill, I would definitely be interested in less sweating.
