I was prescribed 4 250 mg of Azithromycin for chlamidya, and took all 4 Wednesday and it is now Friday. I would like to have a drink tonight, but as this is an antibiotic I don't know if I will be okay until next Wednesday, since it is said to cure chlamydia after 7 days.
Thanks!
How many days after taking 1 dose of Azithromycin (1000 mg) can I drink?

Although a lot of people drink small amount of alcohol while taking antibiotics, I wouldn't dare to do so. The best thing is to make sure you drink a full cup of water after taking the antibiotic.
Good news, you can safely have an alcoholic drink despite having recently taken Azithromycin, an antibiotic.

It is common to see “Avoid Alcohol” labels on prescription bottles. Many patients are concerned about mixing antibiotics with alcohol contained in beverages or other medications. In general, most antibiotics can be taken safely with small amounts of alcohol. Drinking excessive amounts of alcohol while fighting an infection may not be wise, can lead to dehydration, and may hinder the body’s natural ability to heal itself, as well. It can also increase the risk of experiencing side effects like dizziness.
