After my dentist up the dosage of Clindamycin from 150mg (1pill) 4 times a day to 300mg (2pills) 3 times a day, I started to itch but only at night and i would wake up with hives on my upper chest and arms only. Would I be allergic to the Clindamycin?
Is Azithromycin and Clindamycin in the same category? I'm allergic to azithromycin?

Although they are different drug classes, I suggest you contact your Dr. asap, I think you are having an allergic reaction to Clindamycin.
Azithromycin belongs to the drug of class macrolides and Clindamycin to the drug class of lincomycin derivatives.

I am allergic to clindamycin and the doctor prescribed me somwe azithromycin are they the same or in the same family? I feel short winded but i'm not sure if im in panic mode or what because of me not being sure.

It's become hypersensitivity reaction ... Be careful .. they are different class of drugs.
