How long does it take to get pregnant after having Nexplanon removed?

Hello everyone. I had my nexplanon for 2 years and had it removed Nov. 2016, I did not have a period while it was in and my period did not start on it's own, my gn gave me progesterone to make it start and it started but only lasted 4 days and was very light. I had a lot of pregnancy symptoms, nausea, aches, etc and I am now 13 days late on my next period, I know I am not pregnant, all the tests say negative. My gn has now put me back on progesterone to make my period start again. Anyone else have this problem?

I got pregnant a month after getting nexaplon removed.

Hello everyone, I know how frustrating it must be playing this waiting game of trying to conceive I know because I am in the same boat. But for the ones who aren't trying to conceive I am told every woman and their body is different. Some can conceive right away and some it takes a while so just in case I would advise y'all practice safe sex until you find another preventive method, hopefully I'm one of those right away ones. I had my first son 9/24/13 on 11/6/13 I had my Nexplanon put in. Since then I have irregular cycles, for an example in 2016 I only had three cycles. First one was 1/1/2016 the second one was 4/1/2016 and the last one was 12/1/2016. I was working around a bunch of babies and caught baby fever so after 3 years I finally decided to have my Nexplanon removed on 1/27/17 I have not had a cycle yet but hopefully I want because hopefully I'm pregnant but I'll keep you ladies posted.

I had Nexplanon for seven months with no period. Then it started. I bleed for two months. The last week I bleed so much I had to have a blood transfusion. My gyn prescribed Megestrol ( the generic name). It stopped the bleeding completely. But when I stopped taking Megestrol the bleeding came back almost as heavy as before. My gyn said it is causing life threatening side effects for me and it has to come out. My implant is being remove this week. I know this doesn't answer the pregnancy question but maybe the name of the medicine that stops the death period will help someone else.

I had nexplanon removed on June 22nd, & found out I was pregnant on July 31st!! I am 3 weeks so I got pregnant very fast after getting it removed!

I had mine taken out on the 5th May and I had my period, I've been having unprotected sextet with my partner because we are trying and unfortunately I'm not but I'm on my next period cycle is that a good sign that I can after or is it my body getting used to not having the inplant there? And roughly how long does women take to fall pregnant when they had it out because everyone's different I've been talking folic acid every day since its been taken out and still no luck.

I have wonder the same thing,I have mine removed in December, hade a period in February and now no period.

I got my nexplanon removed a week ago and since me and my fiance have had unprotected sex because he wants another baby ... How long did it take for everyone else to get pregnant ??? Please help !

Igot my nexplanon removal 3months ago and until now im still waiting for my period to come and want to get pregnant now!!! why i still dont have any peroliod and im also not pregnant!me and my fiance are trying hard to get me pregnant!!! please help!!! what do i have to do?do i have to seek doctor?

Hi, I'm new on here and I had recently gotten my nexplanon removed on the 4th of February. I've had unprotected sex on the 4th, 6th, 7th, 10th, 14th and the 15th of February. I know it sounds weird keeping up with the dates that I have intercourse but I do want another baby. I have a 1 year old whose about to turn 2 in october this year. So I'm not sure if i'm pregnant or not... I'm just excited about wanting to have another baby. My doctor told me I could get pregnant right away but I'm not sure if I'm one of those who can get pregnant after the removal or a little bit after. During my nexplanon, I've had it since Dec 31 of 2014 and I had it removed the 4th of Feb of 2016. So can someone tell me a little bit about it?

I just got mine removed today. My doctor told me you are the most fertile the first month after its out. I can literally get pregnant right now. So be careful.

I got mine removed tuesday (12/8/15) and they gave me seasonique to take which I didn't take right away. My SO and I had sex unprotected each day after that. Multiple Times a day. I started my seasonique sunday (12/13/15) I'm afraid I could be pregnant. It's to early to tell now just waiting to see if I'm not.

I got the Nexplanon implant Aug. 6, had it removed Oct. 12 (It made me very hormonal), and I just found out I'm about 4 weeks pregnant on Nov. 9. I never even got a period after it was removed. We had sex 3-4 times and that was all it took. I've also been doing research and found that a lot of women were miscarrying due to getting pregnant so fast after removal of the implant. But hopefully I do not fall into that category. Best of luck to all the women ttc after implant :)

I got mine out in Feb of 2015. We have been trying since and yet to conceive. I have a friend who has the same issue 2 years later. She was on it much longer than me. I only used it a year. I personally regret ever getting it. Plus, getting it out made me gain weight fast. I hope if you want to get pregnant you can and you don't have to deal with what I'm going through.
