Can lisinapril 20 mg be cut in half for a 10 mg dose or is a new RX required for 10 mg?

It would be fine to cut a 20mg tablet in half as there is no special tablet coating on Lisinopril. However this is often not that accurate. You would be best to only cut a few to tie you over until you get a new prescription.
Thank you that was the plan. I just didnt want to waste an entire Rx.
