i have slightly elevated protein in my blood I have made an appointment with a blood dr.. I also have been religiously following a regime of Hydrogen peroxide treatments (daily ) for the last nine years and I am in fantastic health , play golf(walking) most every day ,take no phony medicines under any circumstances I recommend reading the One Minute Cure by Madison Kavanaugh. she exposes the fraud perpetrated on the public by the big pharma

Hello Manapla1103 I was recently referred to an Oncologist. I am currently waiting to have a Bone Marrow Biopsy done. I have been reading on Multiple Myeloma and have been terrified. Has your Hematologist verified the diagnosis? How are you doing?
Did either of you learn anything from your high protein? I had an elevated Protein S in my blood and I’m worried sick.
Hi pamee. The info that the others gave you is consistent with what I found. There's a lot of reasons this could happen. I'd rather you google what you said. "thick blood and too much protein." You'll need to chat with your Dr. He's the one who can explain the answer to your question. He/She knows your history and he's the one whose ordering the test. He/she must have some reason for ordering them. I want to answer your question, but I'd rather you check out the reasons for your having thick blood and too much protein in your blood. The comments are excellent as usual, don't ya think? I hope ya got my 'thank you" the other day. I'm so grateful for you. I prayed for you.
Lov ya pamee,
Anna
Thank you sweet Annabanana!! Love you girl! I so much appreciate your prayers :) How are you feeling dear? I think of you often and continue praying for you love... I haven't received your thank you, but that's fine, bcuz I know you are thankful... may you have a beautiful blessed day!

High blood protein may be caused by something as simple as mild dehydration, increasing the concentration of protein in your bloodstream. In this case, the blood proteins only appear to be elevated. High blood protein may also be a warning sign of chronic inflammation or infection, particularly of the liver. Elevated levels of immune system proteins produced by the bone marrow may raise concerns about certain bone marrow diseases. That is why they want you to see the hematologist. The protein the other poster was talking about in her mother who is diabetic is urine protein, not blood.
Sorry that posters mom has kidney dysfunction not diabetes, but that is still urine protein they are checking.
Wow, what an impressive answer. Are you one of the nurses that Lara was talking about?
Dzoo. Thank you so much! I received a letter from my neurologust and she said basically the same thing you did. If only I would have waited for the mail, oh well gave me a chance to chat with my friends... Dzoo you really know your stuff one smart lady you are! Thank you again DzooBaby... pamee
My father is diagnosed with a rare blood cancer, incurrable. His body prodces too much protein. It has ruined his organs, chirosis, etc. It's so devastating. He flies to the Mayo Clinic every 3 months. We know that within the next few years. His fight will end. They bought him 5 years before this, through trials, alternative Hail Mary's. I am very confused as well as to the cause of other reasons for it. I have my own blood issues for Vitamin B and protein. No one can figure it out? I have a feeling that I may need to go to the Mayo clinic myself. Wish you the best. If you or anyone find any answers. I would love your input.
Hi Pamee, I wish I could answer your Q. I don't know what protein in blood means, I am just praying one of our nurses comes along and answers you. I'm so sorry that you are going thru this and I hope it resolves itself soon.
Love,
Lara

I googled "Protein in blood" and the gist of the answer was thus; There should be protein in the blood, it could mean that you are just dehydrated.
Now that is just the short answer, I'm certain there are much better explanations out there, I'll keep googling this until I understand it better, IF I understand it, I will get back to you.
(did anyone say it meant diabetes or anything like that to you? I'm just curious as to what you were told, if anything.)
Lara
Hello Lara,
Thank you! I also googled it and I am not any closer to understanding, that's nothing though, bcuz I dnt understand much, got the brain fog lol! I am diabetic, so nothing there the dr isn't aware of. I thought everyone has protein in their blood... blood is protein right? Too have too much doesn't seem like a big deal, but I guess it is. You mentioned dehydration, now that might be a possibility? Maybe I should increase my intake of water; however, I feel pretty water logged already... thank you again Lara! Have the bestest day possible!! ... pamee
Hi again Lara, the doctors said nothing to me what could cause thick blood or too much protein, they jst want me to get into hematology...
Hi again, PameePie,
You are so sweet, I barely gave you any info and you are still nice!
I know, blood IS protein laden, so I don't understand either, unless you actually are dehydrated. Maybe this has something to do with clogged arteries or something, perhaps the wee capillaries aren't getting enough blood? I really am clueless, yet will try to find some real info for you.
Lara
big hug
Pamee, not sure, but, could it be your kidneys. My mom has some mild kidney dysfunction and the doctor is always cking her protien. I hope you get this resolved soon. Keep us informed. While going thru this, I hope your depression/anxiety is better so you can deal with this until you know. It could just be something you are eating too much of. Praying for you.
Hi bhouse, I'm so glad you answered Pamee's question, as I'm having a heck of a time trying to find info about Pamee's issues.
Lara
My mom is a type II diabetic and that is why she has the kidney dysfunction. Diabete's causes so much. She has dementia and right now, at this moment, it is hard. I lost my mom a few months back. I am learning this new one. That may be part of my depression, but, I don't think so. It started after I had cancer in 1999 and my dad dying in 2001. I have tried so many medicines. They work for awhile and then they don't. I pray Zoloft helps me. I am thankful for this support group.
Thank you Lara You have helped me a great deal... now you got pamee wantin some pie pameepie!! lol... your cute and funny... pamee
Bhouse thank you for your concerns! How have you been? I have protein albumin in my urine they check my kidneys for those. My mother also had dementia and she passed 5 months ago.. she was my best friend and I so miss her... thank you again... pamee
