I was taking my dose at my evening meal and found that I would forget a time or two. So I switched to breakfast where I thought I would be more prone to remember. I only did it once and it caused some burning in my esophagus with burping. Is there a some type or amount of food I need to eat to avoid this?
What kind of meal do I need to eat when I take Xarelto?

Answers
Xarelto can cause dyspepsia (indigestion) in some people. You could try taking it with something like milk or yogurt. I don't know if that will help but it might coat your throat and stomach. Stay away from something like Pepto as it can interact with the drug.
Best regards and I hope it doesn't happen to you again.
There are no food or drinks restrictions.
What to avoid
Avoid activities that may increase your risk of bleeding or injury. Use extra care to prevent bleeding while shaving or brushing your teeth.
