Acetaminophen has a tendency to get stronger ( which is very bad for the liver, very bad) over time. Darvocet has acetaminophen in it. Please dispose of these pills as the acetaminophen in it may have become toxic.
Is this just a question or are you asking if the darvocet you have is still good after 5 years? in my opinion darvocet has never been good(blah).

Is it Darvocet? Usually meds have a shelf - life of 2-3 years, it should not be potent any longer, however please double check it with a pharmacist, hope this helps? The expiry date should be mentioned on the bottle/pack/blister it is required to be mentioned by law.
