Yes, but it’s recommended to be taken with food or milk to prevent upset stomach.
Just met with spine doc this week.
Chronic back issues +a recent injury.
66 yrs old. Trying to maintain a 12 golf handicap.
He prescribed 6000mg/day Robaxin.
This is added to 2400 mg of Advil.
So barring stomach issues, this may work. I use only branded Advil. No issues so far.
We eliminated the Tramadol and gabapentin.
We will meet in a month and evaluate.
As long as it is helping you, you shouldn't have any problems. As mentioned before don't take too much ibuprofen as it could cause stomach upset. I would just make sure that you eat a little something with it to coat your stomach.
That should not be a problem. I take them together at the same time or I take acetaminophen together with methocarbamol. If ibuprofen causes you stomach upset (it does me so I have to be careful) then you need to just generally to be careful and not take a lot of ibuprofen. That's why I go from one to another so as not to cause stomach upset. I find that taking methocarbamol at the same time with either ibuprofen or acetaminophen really works for pain.
