Hi Carol, I have taken phenergan before for vomiting and it worked quickly and great. The only side effect was it made me sleepy, but that was fine for me cause I had an awful stomach bug and felt awful. The diarrhea I am not sure how long, but it should definitely help. I looked up the interactions between ativan and phenergan and there are a little. Here us the info...

Hi i haven't heard of Phenergan being used to treat diarrhoea before, but i have just researched it. For the vomiting it should be effective quickly, usually with the first dose. For diarrhoea it may take a day or 2.
Thank you, Delila. I was prescribed Phenergan for daily migraines, and I have to say that the first dose did work. Only problem, it made my legs weak and twitchy. I'll take that over daily vomiting any day. Thank you again.

I am also prescribed Ativan for panic attacks. Can I take it in conjunction w/Phenergan? Dr. also told me to continue Exdedrine for Migraine. And I HATE to take meds.
Hi yes you should be fine. Just keep check on your breathing and nervous system. This may be why you've had funny sensations in your legs. But the interaction risk is quite low.
