What's the difference between Phenergan and Zofran?

jbeddow; Sorry you really can't compare these medications they are just 2 different medications but they are used for pretty much the same thing. but they are completely different medications it's like an apple to an orange. They both are for nausea or vomiting and can help with some dizziness also. Most people for the record are given Phenergan or promethazine Tablets first and if that does not work they got to the Zofran not only for more effect but the Zofran is much more expensive than the Phenergan. I have used all of these and more and found Zofran to help me the most but that was Chemotherapy. BUT FOR normal nausea and vomiting most people get the Phenergan and it works just fine hope that we'll clear it up. and remember to be careful because either one of these can make you sleepy of a bit disoriented but that well pass. but if you don't have them yet give your doctor a call they are well worth the money or time to have them on hand. best of luck and hope you're in better shape soon.
