How long do you wait after drinking liquids to take a oral tempature?

I've always heard at least 5 minutes, but DzooBaby is hard to beat at answers!
You should wait 20-30 minutes after eating, drinking or smoking to get an accurate oral temp. You should wait an hour after taking a hot bath or doing vigorous exercise before checking temperature.
