I took Miralax last night (it didn't move my bowels) and took an enema this afternoon which produced small bowel movement (which was not loose) and an hour later I had mucus expelled from my rectum. Is this normal?
Fleet Enema - Does an enema cause mucus to be expelled from the rectum?

It's actually positive. That mucal coating builds up over time, coating the cilia on the walls of your colon and so they can't properly move the waste out. The more of that mucus you are able to eliminate the better.
Yes, this is normal. You're ok:)
I've seen enemas do that at times. Miralax often takes dosing several days in a row before it works.
