Can not taking this with food have other effects, like with your stomach or otherwise?

I take that dosage every night at bedtime along with Lexapro and 4 other meds. I avoid eating before going to bed for several reasons, especially GERD. I have never had any stomach upset.
It's advised to take trazodone with food to help prevent stomach upsets, light headedness, and dizziness. An empty stomach can cause the drug to be absorbed too quickly in too large amounts.
If it doesn't cause you any side effects, don't worry about it.
