Doxylamine - Can I give this to my lab for allergies?

Hi Kim1974
I found this online from a veterinarian forum: "Doxylamine can be used as an antihistamine for itch relief in healthy dogs on no other medications, at a dose of 1/2 to 1mg per pound of body weight, as often as every 8 hours."
Im not sure what your lab's allergies are, but there are online veterinary services if you have additional questions and can't get to your vet.
