Tramadol is an opioid, but the chemical structure of Tramadol is significantly different from the structure of free Morphine which is what Opiate drug tests test for. So, the answer is no Tramadol will not test positive for opiates on a drug test.

tramadol is a synthetic opiate, it will test positive on a drug screen.

Tramadol is not a opiate so you will test positve if that is alll you're taking... Good luck...
