When you exercise and your heartrate increases will Nifedipine give you a false reading?
Does Nifedipine have an effect on ones heartrate?

Answers
Nifedipine should not give you a false reading when you exercise.It does not usually decrease the heart rate (unless you are taking short-acting nifedipine (Procardia) which can increase the heart rate)
Check with your doctor of you are unsure.
