I was recently diagnosed with Raynaud's Syndrome and was just prescribed Nifedipine 30mg XR for it. Should I take it in the morning or at night? I don’t want to feel sleepy or sluggish at work so wondering what is recommended. I am a 39F.

The extended-release tablet should be taken once daily on an empty stomach, either 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal , you can take it at night .
Thank you so much! Turns out I am allergic to Nifedipine. Took it once and got every single side effect listed pretty much. Had to leave work early and be driven home as I couldn’t drive. So I guess we will be trying something else, but not until we get lab results back to see what other ailment it is linked to. My PCP seems to think I have multiple going on. Aren’t I the lucky one.
