Is there a omparison between the pregabalin and gabapentin?
I am dealing with significant mood instabilities similar to Neurontin effective mood swing. One of the things that correlates is changing to pregabalin from Lyrica.
What are the differences between Lyrica and the generic counterpart, pregabalin?

I have had problems with mood swings but they are leveling out. Thank you for pointing out that this could be a the problem! The main reason I joined this group was that I am having problems adjusting to pregabalin from Lyrica and fighting the insurance battle. My neuropathy is worse, pain is worse, having a new problem with my vision and I get shaky sometimes. Doing my best to get back on Lyrica.

Maddie, i hope you and your doctor get it worked out. If the Lyrica provided relief, i feel like you should have that available. I was started on gabapentin originally at the behest of my insurance, then switched to neurontin, which was bad to worse for me. It just was not a good mix with my body. The insurance finally agreed to Lyrica and we battled that out every new deductible year. This year the insurance company switched in February to pregabalin and i have been on this mood swing train wreck every since. All things being equal, had a lot of other things going on too so need some feedback.
