The active ingredient for these anticonvulsants is Carbamazepine both for Zeptol CR and Tegretol CR.
The brand names used are different internationally, but as I mentioned both are Carbamazepine and the CR stands for Controlled Release meaning the medication will slowly be released into your bloodstream to keep an even level of the active ingredient (Carbamazepine) in your system for a determined period of time.
