Has anyone else had this affect? I quit because of it. Even tried MiraLax, stool softeners, fleets, etc. Anyone found a way to continue Contrave with using something that worked for them? Shawn
I used Contrave for a month and 1/2. Lost 9 lbs. Super! But I got constipated?

Before Contrave I drink coffee with 1 diet tea on it 8-12oz coffee. I sipped it through out the day. And gives me bowel movement 2-3 a day. I continue this with Contrave and so far I’m not constipated at all. Try California Diet Tea. It works like magic. Let me know if it helps. Keep me posted.

Same has happened to me, but I have stayed on it. I do still softeners and prunes, and about once every week and a half I have to have a laxative. It’s definitely a side effect, I’ve just learn to work around it.
