My doctor is putting me on clonazepam wafers because they switched brands on the pills to Solco. Solco brand is awful. My doctor said generics are 80% or less effective, so am anxious to see if the wafers works better.
I’ve a question is: Are the wafers also made by Solco?
Do you take them later (as if right before bed?). Do they keep you sleeping through the night? Do you wake with a hangover?
Clonazepam oral wafers for insomnia?

Some people do feel "hangover" the next day, slow, clumsy, somewhat depressed when first taking clonazepam, but the body adjust. Clonazepam half life 30-40 hours, long acting benzo. If there is any way please seriously consider slowly tapering away from its use. Unfortunately not only works on your insomnia but shuts down many other central nervous functions, messes with your vision, hearing, muscle tone, breathing, balance, hormones etc. When it no longer works not only insomnia kicks back in worse than before but you might also experience problem such as headaches, muscle twitches, dizziness, anxiety, panic attack, palpitations... It is a promising drug, seemingly no side effects until you develop dependence/tolerance.
I would be cautious with clonazepam for sleep, depending on other drugs, dose and possible cerebral condition.
Please try to get away from ANY benzodiazepines.
They are very habitually addictive.
Hey, Spirit!
Yes. Klonopin generics are also made by “Solco”. Klonopin Wafer belongs to a group of drugs called benzodiazepines, which help to slow down brain activity. Klonopin is often prescribed for sleep problems and insomnia. Taking it before bed can provide a calming effect, which can make you feel sleepy. The effects of this drug can last up for 6-8 hours. Thereby, it may help you sleep through the night. Klonopin lasts longer to help you sleep through the night. It also has less "hangover" effect - it doesnt continue into the day and make one sleepy.
I hope this answer your questions
Stay strong,

Thank you, Tyrese. I’m a little worried now that others are saying I’ll be sorry.
However, the brand Solco hasn’t been working. I wake early and never feel rested. Very interesting and one positive is no hangover and feeling rested after a good 6-8 hours of sleep. I appreciate everyone’s answers greatly.
Blessings,
Spirit
@ Tyrese... I honestly do not understand your criteria and your conviction to answering a question without warning the HIGH cost involved when taking benzos, and in a certain way encouraging the member posting the question and then saying that Wildcat is right that benzos are a risk, when all of us are saying so.
I read both your answer and your comment and I sincerely do not agree with members encouraging others and then backing down from their original answer (s) when everyone else is saying do not go down the road of Benzodiazepines.
I understand. My apologies
Tyrese
@Masso.
I wasn’t encouraging him/her to take Klonopin. I was just answering the question he/she provided, because I thought him/her has taken benzodiazepines before and needed info on Klonopin. I totally apologise. I know how addicting benzodiazepines can be.
