Benadryl Allergy - I have a allergic reaction to hair dye?

I am not sure about the benadryl but I wanted to add that you should tell your hairstylist about this bcuz most likely u are allergic to one of the minerals in the paticular hair color that they use. Ur stylist can and will b happy to look into it ( especially if u tell her what u are allergic too) and can use another color line. Hair color had changed dramatically over the last 10 yrs and you should not leave the salon itching bad enough to need benadyl. Hope this helps for ur next color service!

brenlove27 Yes on the benadryl for itching and swelling, If you don't get relief call your doctor tomorrow for something stronger. Hope this helps you could also use some hydrocortisone cream over the counter on your scalp if you can reach the swelling area don't get into the eyes..hope that well do it for you any problems Call your doctor.
