There may not be a cure per se but my understanding is there are procedures to kill off or remove the bad cells. In my way of thinking that seems like a "cure" to me.
I am newly diagnosed, and I was great well on Gen Nexium Esomeprazole 40 mg a day. Could not afford it, and was put on Omeprazole and now told I have Barrett's. I want to go back on the Generic Nexium to see if it helps. What other drugs can help to stop any progression?
I don't know of any cure for Barrett's Esophagus (BE). BE is a precancerous condition which should be periodically monitored by a medical professional usually via endoscopy.
