Bactroban- Can bactroban be used on cold sores?

It may sting a little but yes you can use it just don't get it in your mouth only on the outside. I would use something made especially for cold sores if you can, like herpecin or vaseline makes a cold sore medicine also. I am not sure of the name but I am sure any pharmacist would be able to tell you. But you can use the bactroban in a pinch.
