I have been on Phentermine since 4/10/2015. (today is 5/26/2015) My agression and anger has skyrocketed to unbearable. I am quick to scream and yell. I have also never been a violent person but have recently started a desire to punch or throw stuff when I am angered. I have also just as quickly gotten depressed and want to curl into a ball and cry. I got angry at a tree last weekend for no reason. I don't know what is wrong. The drug is working on the weight loss great but the mood swings are diabolical. Please help me. What are my options?

I have a opposite reaction. It calms in down with 10 minutes of taking this medication but doesn't help with appetite control or weight management. Makes me focus. Your post was very interesting. I am trying to find out what is in the medication that stimulates the central nervous system that changes mood and behavior. I had a great deal of digestive problems and this medication has made it all disappear but now that I am not on it, slowly one by one all are coming back. I have being to several GI and had all sorts of tests done and according to the tests my digestive system is absolutely find. No explanation for my problems but this medication did a miracle.
Probably stop taking it and try one of the new weight loss pills.
