You don't have to eat, but if you want to eat or need to it, then wait 1 hour after taking sucralfate. 2 hours after taking sucralfate to take medicines.
You can eat about an hour after taking it.
No you should
Do you have to eat meals after taking the sucralfate? I don’t eat 4 meals a day to take it with, like it is prescribed. I have horrible acid reflux and need the medicine but don’t eat more than 2 meals a day. Can anyone help me with this issue?
I only eat 2 meals a day also but I take 11 when I get up second one before lunch then third one before supper then 4th one before I go to bed hope this helps
The directions for sucralfate say it should be taken on an empty stomach, at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal. Also avoid taking any other medications within 2 hours before or after. So you can eat an hour after taking it...
