I took the Take Action pill in less than 20 hours. The pill ended up dissolving under my tongue. Will it still work? I took the pill on a empty stomach and drank just a little bit of water.

Hi the same thing happen to me and I’m very nervous it melted with the water in my mouth will it still work?
This pill is made to be swallowed with water, to dissolve in your stomach. I am therefore unsure that it would still work for you, if you didn't follow those instructions.
I have heard from another member who did the same thing, & still got side effects from it, but whether it prevented pregnancy I don't know, as she never came back to tell us.
Plus, in order to know for sure the pill worked for her, she'd have to know if she definitely would have got pregnant, had she not taken the pill, which would be impossible to know. That's assuming she didnt end up pregnant.
I Certainly wouldn't rely on it to have a good chance of preventing pregnancy, if you didn't follow the instructions & swallow it.
Hi, thank you for the answer. I ended up getting my period on sunday dec. 2. Thank you.
Thank you for coming back to us. Just to let you know, you should still do a pregnancy test when you're far enough along for it to show on a test, because the bleeding could be from the Plan B, & you could still be pregnant.
