Scour Suspension Indications

Scour Suspension is indicated for use in the treatment of diarrhea (scours) and enteritis when caused by organisms susceptible to neomycin and succinylsulfathiazole.

Directions For Use

To reduce the development of antimicrobial resistance and maintain effectiveness, use this antibiotic prudently and for the shortest duration required to achieve the desired clinical outcome.

SHAKE WELL BEFORE USING.

Dosage: For piglets under 2.5 kg, give 1 mL daily; over 2.5 kg, give 2 mL daily. Treatment may be repeated for up to 4 days.

For dogs, cats & lambs, give 2 mL per kg bodyweight, divided into 2 doses daily. Reduce to 1/2 after 2 days, for not more than 5 days.

For calves, give 2 tablespoon daily. Treatment may be repeated for 2 to 3 days.

Warnings

Treated animals must not be slaughtered for use in food for at least 30 days for cattle and 14 days for swine and lambs after the latest treatment with this drug. Do not administer to lactating cattle. Sulfonamides can cause allergic reactions in sensitized individuals. When handling the product, avoid oral exposure and direct contact with skin or eyes. Keep out of reach of children.

Storage

Store at room temperature (15-30°C). Protect from freezing.
