DESCRIPTION: PUREVAX® Feline 3/Rabies contains a nonadjuvanted lyophilized suspension of modified live feline rhinotracheitis, calici, and panleukopenia viruses; recombinant vectored rabies vaccine; plus a sterile water diluent. Safety and immunogenicity of this product have been demonstrated by vaccination and challenge tests in susceptible cats.
INDICATIONS: PUREVAX® Feline 3/Rabies is recommended for the vaccination of healthy cats 8 weeks of age and older for prevention of disease due to feline rhinotracheitis, calici, panleukopenia, and rabies viruses.
DOSAGE: Reconstitute the lyophilized vaccine with accompanying liquid diluent and aseptically inject 1 mL (1 dose) subcutaneously into healthy cats. For primary vaccination of cats younger than 12 weeks of age, revaccinate every 3 to 4 weeks with the last dose given at or over 12 weeks of age. For primary vaccination of cats 12 weeks or older, revaccinate with a second 1 ml dose of this product or Code 16D8.21 (Purevax® Feline 3), 3 to 4 weeks later. Revaccinate annually with a single 1 mL dose.
