Active Ingredients

NSE Bolus Indications

As an aid in the treatment of bacterial enteritis (scours), bacterial respiratory tract infection-enteritis complex and coccidiosis in calves, and bacterial enteritis (scours) in foals, each caused or complicated by micro-organisms susceptible to neomycin and/or sulfamethazine. Also aids in the replacement of electrolytes which may be depleted in association with the above ailments.

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION:

Administer orally with the aid of a balling gun, 2 boluses per 50 kg body weight twice daily the first day, and 1 bolus per 50 kg body weight twice daily for the next 2 to 3 days.

NSE Bolus Caution

Severely dehydrated animals should not be treated with this drug. To maintain adequate hydration and to ensure adequate urine flow, water should be readily available to animals receiving this drug. Do not administer for more than 4 consecutive days.

Warning

Treated animals must not be slaughtered for use in food for at least 30 days after the last treatment with this drug.

Keep out of the reach of children.

Storage

Store in a dry place and not above 15 °C. Keep lid tightly closed when not in use.
