PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Nobivac® NXT Canine Flu H3N2 is a non-adjuvanted, freeze-dried injectable canine influenza virus H3N2 vaccine, utilizing RNA particle technology. The vaccine stimulates expression of the desired antigen to induce a protective immune response against canine influenza virus H3N2.

Nobivac NXT Canine Flu H3N2 Indications

This product has been shown to be effective for the vaccination of healthy dogs 8 weeks of age or older against canine influenza virus H3N2. Duration of immunity has not been established. For more information regarding efficacy and safety data, go to productdata.aphis.usda.gov.

This product contains RNA Particles coding for the H3 gene from canine influenza virus A/canine/Iowa/22619-4/2015(H3N2).

Dosage and Administration

Transfer contents of the sterile diluent vial to the Nobivac® NXT Canine Flu H3N2 vial aseptically and mix gently until dissolved. For primary immunization, administer 1 dose (0.5 mL) subcutaneously as early as 8 weeks of age followed by a second dose 3 to 4 weeks later. Contact your veterinarian or manufacturer for more information on revaccination frequency.

Precautions

● Store at 2° - 8°C (35° - 46°F).

● Do not freeze.

● Use new, non-chemically sterilized needles and syringes.

● Do not mix with other products, except as specified on the label.

● In case of human exposure, contact a physician.

Warnings

● Vaccinate only healthy, non-parasitized dogs.

● This product has not been tested in pregnant animals.

● Do not administer to horses or other equine species.

● The use of a biological product may produce anaphylaxis and/or other inflammatory immune-mediated hypersensitivity reactions. Antidote: Epinephrine, corticosteroids, and antihistamines may all be indicated depending on the nature and severity of the reaction.
