PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Nobivac^® NXT Canine-3 Rabies is a non-adjuvanted, freeze-dried injectable rabies vaccine, utilizing RNA particle technology. The vaccine stimulates expression of the desired antigen to induce a protective immune response against rabies.

Nobivac NXT Canine-3 Rabies Indications

This product has been shown to be effective for vaccination of healthy dogs 12 weeks of age or older against rabies. Duration of Immunity is at least 3 years after a repeat dose. For more information regarding efficacy and safety data, go to productdata.aphis.usda.

Dosage and Administration

Transfer contents of the sterile diluent vial to the Nobivac^® NXT Canine-3 Rabies vial aseptically. Mix gently until dissolved. Administer 1 dose (0.5 mL) subcutaneously as early as 12 weeks of age, with a booster injection administered 1 year later. Revaccinate every 3 years thereafter.

Precautions

● Store at 2° - 8°C (35°-46°F).

● Do not freeze.

● Use new, non-chemically sterilized needles and syringes.

● Do not mix with other products, except as specified on the label.

● In case of human exposure, contact a physician.

Warnings

● Vaccinate only healthy, non-parasitized dogs.

● This product has not been tested in pregnant animals.

● Do not administer to horses or other equine species.

● The use of a biological product may produce anaphylaxis and/or other inflammatory immune-mediated hypersensitivity reactions. Antidote: Epinephrine, corticosteroids, and antihistamines may all be indicated depending on the nature and severity of the reaction.
