Mycoplasma Hyopneumoniae Bacterin

This product has been shown to be effective for the vaccination of healthy swine 3 weeks of age or older against Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae. Duration of immunity is at least 26 weeks. For more information regarding efficacy and safety data go to productdata.aphis.usda.gov.

Composition

Prepared from chemically inactivated cultures of M. hyopneumoniae, combined with an adjuvant to stimulate the immune response.

Directions and dosage: Shake well before use. Using aseptic technique, inject a single 1 mL dose intramuscularly. For advice on revaccination frequency, contact your veterinarian or the manufacturer.

Precautions

Store at 35-46°F (2-8°C). Do not freeze. Use entire contents when first opened. Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter. Do not mix with other products. In case of anaphylactoid reaction, administer epinephrine. This product has not been tested in pregnant animals. In case of human exposure, contact a physician. Caution: Do not use as diluent for live vaccines.
