Direct Fed Microbial Blend

Microbial supplement for further manufacture of ruminant feeds. Provides high levels of microorganisms, including rumen / intestinal origin bacteria and digestive enzymes. Contains a source of live (viable) naturally occurring microorganisms.

Enzymatic Activity:

Amylase: 10,800,000 units (Aspergillus oryzae, Aspergillus niger) (One unit is amount of enzyme hydrolyzing 5.26 mg of starch per hour at 40°C and pH 5.0 under conditions of assay.)

Cellulase: 2,160,000 units (Trichoderma longibrachiatum, Aspergillus oryzae, Aspergillus niger) (One unit is amount of enzyme producing a relative fluidity change of 1 of carboxymethyl cellulose substrate per 5 minutes at 40°C and pH 4.5 under conditions of assay.)

B glucanase: 680,000 units (Trichoderma longibrachiatum) (One unit is amount of enzyme producing 1nmol of reducing sugars as glucose per second at 50°C and pH 4.8 under conditions of assay.)

Hemicellulase: 5,400,000 units (Aspergillus niger) (One unit is amount of enzyme producing a relative fluidity change of 1 of locust bean substrate per 5 minutes at 40°C and pH 4.5 under conditions of assay.)

Lipase: 162,000 units (Rhizopus oryzae) (One unit is amount of enzyme that releases 1 micromole of fatty acids per minute at 37°C and pH 7.0 under conditions of the assay.)

Protease: 5,400,000 units (Aspergillus oryzae, Aspergillus niger, Bacillus licheniformis) (One unit is amount of enzyme hydrolyzing 1 mcg of hemoglobin as tyrosine per minute at 40°C and pH 4.7 under conditions of the assay.)

Xylanase: 2,700,000 units (Trichoderma longibrachiatum) (One unit is amount of enzyme producing 1nmol of reducing sugars as xylose per second at 50°C and pH 5.3 under conditions of the assay.)

RECOMMENDED USES

For further manufacture of ruminant direct fed microbial feed packs only. Not labeled for direct feeding to livestock.

Directions For Use

Mix with suitable carriers and according to instructions to produce finished mix that supplies 0.25 grams to 0.5 grams of this premix per adult cow per day; or 0.1 grams to 0.2 grams per head per day for growing cattle.
