This treatment applies to the following species:Maternal Bovine Appeasing Substance
AN ANALOGUE OF THE MATERNAL BOVINE APPEASING SUBSTANCE (MBAS) FOR TOPICAL USE IN HEALTHY CATTLE TO MITIGATE THE DETRIMENTAL EFFECTS OF STRESS.

Description
FerAppease® contains a synthetic analogue of the Maternal Bovine Appeasing Substance (MBAS); a proprietary mixture of fatty acids that replicates the composition of the naturally occurring MBAS.
DOSAGE RATE: For Adult cattle, apply 5 ml of FerAppease® to the Nuchal skin and a second 5 ml application to the skin above the muzzle. For calves, apply half the dose on the same locations.
PRODUCT INDICATION:
FerAppease® should be applied before animals are exposed to stressful physiological events or stressful management strategies.
Directions For Use
FerAppease® is for use only in healthy cattle by topical administration to the nuchal skin and skin above the muzzle. Apply 5 ml of FerAppease® to the nuchal skin and 5 ml to the skin above the muzzle. DO NOT INJECT.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
FerAppease® is not a drug, medical device, or vaccine. NEITHER A PRESLAUGHTER WITHDRAWAL INTERVAL NOR A MILK DISCARD TIME IS REQUIRED WHEN THIS PRODUCT IS USED ACCORDING TO LABEL DIRECTIONS.
