Porcine Circovirus Vaccine, Type 2

Killed Baculovirus Vector

For use in animal only.

Composition: This product contains PCV2d.

This product has been shown to be effective for the vaccination of healthy pigs 3 weeks of age or older against porcine circovirus type 2d (PCV2d). The onset of immunity is 28 days. The duration of immunity is not determined. For more information regarding efficacy and safety data, go to productdata.aphis.usda.gov.

The efficacy of the product was demonstrated based on lymphoid depletion, lymphoid colonization, and viremia, when administered intramuscularly as a single 1 mL dose to 3-week old pigs.

Directions and dosage: Shake well before use. Using aseptic technique, administer a single 1 mL dose by intramuscular injection. The need for annual booster vaccinations has not been established for this product; consultation with a veterinarian is recommended.

Precautions

Store at (2-8°C). Do not freeze. Use entire contents when first opened. Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter. Do not mix with other products. In case of anaphylactoid reaction, administer epinephrine. This product has not been tested in pregnant animals. In case of human exposure, contact a physician.
