Dosage and Administration
Administer to beef or dairy cattle as single oral dose of 5 mL per 100 Kg body weight. SHAKE WELL BEFORE USING. Syringe dosing: Withdraw volume required to dose animal into a syringe through the Luer lock on the bottle cap. Dosing gun dosing: Use Solvet oral suspension dosing gun (available from Solvet). Connect hose to cap on the bottle. Set volume dial on the gun to the volume required to dose the animal. Withdraw suspension from the container to fill hose and syringe chamber. Dosing animal: If right-handed, position yourself at the cow’s right side. Gently hold the cow’s head with your left hand, keeping it at a natural position and slightly towards yourself. If left-handed, position yourself suitably. If you are using a restraining head gate, this step is not required. Gently place the syringe tip or nozzle tip of the dosing gun over the back of the tongue. Squeeze the syringe plunger (syringe dosing) or depress the applicator handle. Wait a moment for the cow to swallow and then remove the syringe or applicator. To assist passage of the drench down the esophagus and to stimulate a swallowing reflex, stroke the surface of the tongue or the outside of the throat. Ensure that the cow has access to fresh water at all times. -Look for signs of breathing difficulty for 5 minutes after administering the drench. Wipe outside of syringe or dosing gun tip with 70% isopropyl alcohol wipe between animals. When finished dispose of syringe or clean dosing gun according to the instructions provided with the Solvet oral suspension dosing gun.
Cautions:
No withdrawal period is required when used according to label.

Do not use excessive force when administering to cattle. If using a dosing gun, care should be taken to not damage the mouth or pharynx. Cattle should be properly restrained during drenching. Do not administer to cattle lying down or to cattle without a normal swallowing reflex.
