Wheezing in Adults
Some medications can trigger wheezing with or without shortness of breath. Beta-blockers such as propranalol (Inderal) and nadalol (Corgard) as well as a number of others can affect the bronchi. Other medications can cause an allergic reaction with wheezing.
Do you take a beta-blocker or have you started a new medication prior to the onset of wheezing?
