Sexual Problems in Men

Certain medications can cause retrograde ejaculation. Medications that are well known to trigger this problem include

  • alpha blockers -- used to treat an enlarged prostate gland or high blood pressure -- including tamsulosin (Flomax), alfuzosin (Uroxatral), doxazosin (Cardura), and terazosin (Cardura)

  • psychiatric medications, particularly amoxapine (Asendin), chlorpromazine (Thorazine), and thioridazine (Mellaril).

Are you taking any of these medications which can cause retrograde ejaculation?

Yes, I'm taking one or more of these medications.
