Sexual Problems in Men
Contact your doctor. Pain along the shaft of the penis during an erection can be a sign of a condition called Peyronie's disease. Peyronie's disease can also cause a curve or bend in your penis when it is erect.
Other causes of pain during erections include an irritation of the skin along the shaft of the penis (balanitis), or an infection of the prostate gland (prostatitis) or urethra (urethritis). Regardless of the cause, pain with an erection is not normal, and deserves a medical evaluation, so contact your doctor.
