That's great. Breastfeeding can continue for as long as you and your baby like.
If you do decide to wean before your child's birthday, remember that a baby weaned from breastmilk before 12 months needs iron-fortified infant formula rather than cow's milk. Do not give your baby cow's milk until after 12 months.
