Fruits are excellent sources of vitamins (especially vitamin C), minerals, and fiber. Toddlers should eat two to three servings each day.

Keep in mind that serving sizes are less for smaller children.

One- and two-year olds

Fresh fruit, cut up - 1/4 to 1/2 piece (approximately 1/4 to 1/2 cup)

Canned or cooked fruit - 1/4 to 1/2 cup

Fruit juice - 1/4 cup (2 ounces)
