Lumps or Pain Within the Scrotum

See your doctor. You need evaluation for possible infection (such as epididymitis or as orchitis), serious inflammation, or a cancerous growth. Seek urgent medical if the swelling is increasing, or the pain is getting worse with time.

Your doctor may be able to make a diagnosis simply by examining you. Occasionally, another test such as an ultrasound may be necessary.
